An e-mail should be sent by either the Donor or their financial advisor to Scott Machado at smachado@csumb.edu with the details of the transfer.

Include the following information:

  1. Donor’s name and contact information
  2. Name of security
  3. Number of units/shares
  4. Date of transfer
  5. Designation

Please note that the transfer of shares in a mutual fund may require additional paperwork between the Donor, mutual fund company, and California State University, Monterey Bay. As such, the Donor should initiate these transfers with sufficient time to allow for the completion of the required steps.
